God Did Not Give us a Spirit of Fear But of Power and Love

~ “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” ^{2 Timothy 1:7}

~ There was a followup call by Ann who wanted to add more insight into doctors and what doctors are doing today of imparting fear into people and also killing them or running a person into the ground with the administering of drugs themselves. All decisions should NOT be based on fear. But in every decision we make take it to the Lord in prayer, and listen to the Holy Spirit who is alive living in you if you are in Christ Jesus for He has given us the mind of God, living in us to make sound decisions. Also, in today’s program, Bob goes into the details of the gospel. For many are believing something other than the true gospel, which is no gospel at all.

The Perfect Love of Jesus Casts Away ALL Fear

~ There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” ^{1 John 4:18}

~ It’s so important for us to remember that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. No one gets out of this world in their body of flesh that they were first born into. The child of God has a much better hope waiting for them, a new body that will never see sickness or decay. That is something all of us in Christ Jesus have to look forward to.

Focus on JESUS, not the Storm

~ Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” ^{Matthew 14:31}

“Now let’s go back again to the book of Matthew, and pick up, the story in Matthew, verse 22, in Matthew 14. Now in Matthew, He says Immediately Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. Remember, he had just finished feeding the 5000. “And what Christ said, is to focus on Him, to turn your eyes upon Jesus and to look full in his wonderful face. And the things of the world will grow strangely dim in the light of his wonder and grace to keep your eyes upon Jesus. And what that is meaning is to focus on Christ, he should be the focus of everything that we do, and everything that we say, in this life. And he came into the world to tell people this truth. ~ “God tells us you might want to turn with me to the book of Ephesians six. And God tells us in Ephesians, six, beginning in verse 10. Finally he says, Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. ~ “If I was to title, what we’re going to be talking about today, I would have to say a good title for this is, are you prepared? or scared? Are you prepared? Or are you scared? Jesus said that in this world, you are going to have tribulation. But fear not I’ve overcome the world fair not I’ve overcome the world. It isn’t, if we are going to have tribulation, it’s when are you going to have tribulation. Each and every one of us sitting in this room is going to face one tribulation or possibly two, for sure.
