Forgive as the Lord Forgave You

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P846 (06-23-23)

Forgive as The Lord Forgave You!

~ A false teaching of forgiveness is still being taught by most pastors and teachers that forgiveness is ongoing from God. Because of this misunderstanding of forgiveness in the New Covenant today, people think the person has to keep going to God for more forgiveness between God and them. They in essence don’t believe ALL their sins were forgiven at the cross, and thus believe more forgiveness is required by God. The truth of the matter is Jesus FORGAVE you (past tense) of ALL of your sins at the cross. Not some of your sins, but ALL of them. Do you believe this? Or, are you placing faith in the teaching of men rather than God?

~ “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” Colossians 3:13

~ “While Jesus was talking to his disciples there [in Matthew 18:21-22], there weren’t any Christians. So that’s the first thing you have to get straight. No one was truly born again of the Spirit until the day of Pentecost. And that was the day that men we’re indwelt by the Spirit.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Perfect Love Drives Out Fear

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P838 (05-26-23)

God Did Not Give us a Spirit of Fear But of Power and Love

~ “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

~ There was a followup call by Ann who wanted to add more insight into doctors and what doctors are doing today of imparting fear into people and also killing them or running a person into the ground with the administering of drugs themselves. All decisions should NOT be based on fear. But in every decision we make take it to the Lord in prayer, and listen to the Holy Spirit who is alive living in you if you are in Christ Jesus for He has given us the mind of God, living in us to make sound decisions. Also, in today’s program, Bob goes into the details of the gospel. For many are believing something other than the true gospel, which is no gospel at all.

~ “Hi, Bob. I just wanted to especially thank you for the way you handle that call of the man with the brain cancer a while ago, I was so happy to hear you mentioned that Christians should not be making their decisions about treatment from fear.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Perfect Love Casts Out Fear

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P837 (05-25-23)

The Perfect Love of Jesus Casts Away ALL Fear

~ There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18

~ It’s so important for us to remember that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. No one gets out of this world in their body of flesh that they were first born into. The child of God has a much better hope waiting for them, a new body that will never see sickness or decay. That is something all of us in Christ Jesus have to look forward to.

~ “For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Said to the Father Forgive Them

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P42 (05-10-23)

Jesus Said, “Father Forgive Them They Don’t Know What They Are Doing.”

~ Jesus spoke to the Father all the time. And we know that everything He did was the Father telling him to do it, and everything He said was the Father telling Him to say it. So when we see that Jesus spoke to the Father from the cross and said to “forgive them,” you can rest assured that God did indeed forgive them at the cross. For Jesus forgave (past tense) the sins of the whole world at the cross.

~ Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.” Luke 23:34

~ Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed. For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Saved by Life

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P832 (05-05-23)

Understanding the Truth of Completed Forgiveness And The Finality of the Cross

~ In today’s corporate church world, the truth of the finality of the cross and the completeness of forgiveness on the cross is NOT taught. Instead, what is being taught today is simply a form a works based forgiveness and a mixture of law and grace, thinking that getting a person’s sins forgiven gives life to the dead. They don’t teach that a person is saved by the resurrected life of Christ Jesus, NOT his death.

~ “For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!” Romans 5:10

~ “You know, when I listened to that CD, and I listened to the clarity of the teaching, of the finality of the cross over your program, I just, I can’t express how much it’s blessed me, and I just keep up the good work. But I’d like to get some of those notes from you. And, you know, the what I see also, I mean, not to get too long winded here, but just with leaving the borders open, and a lot of our Armenian, Spanish friends coming in the country, just how this thing has crept into the church, this idea that we can come to some sinless state of perfection and that God expects something out of us, that’s basically works.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus is Eternal Life

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P30 (04-12-23)

Eternal Life is Found in Christ Jesus

~ “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” 1 John 5:11-13

“But now he’s introducing to us the fact of eternal life in Christ Jesus, that this is the record that God has given us eternal life. And this life is any Son, and who has the Son has life. And who does not have the Son of God does not have life. It’s a cut and dried situation, folks, it’s, it’s not even a religion. It’s an extremely practical thing that God did for us. He says, if you need life, then you’re dead. And until we see our spiritual death, why would we ever come to him for spiritual life? If we’re not hungry, why would we come to Him for bread? If we’re not sinners, why would we come to Him for salvation and forgiveness?… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
