Reconciliation Jesus Took Away Your Sins on the Cross

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P839 (06-01-23)

Once You Are Born Again of The Holy Spirit, You Cannot be Unborn

~ “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” ^{John 3:6}

~ Many people today believe that they can lose their salvation, because they really don’t understand what salvation is. Salvation is NOT getting your sins forgiven. Salvation is receiving eternal life the very moment a person places faith in Jesus. If Jesus did not die for all of your sins on the cross, then the very moment a person sinned again he would lose his life. But that cannot happen, because Jesus died for ALL sins, not just some sins, but the sins of the whole world.

~ “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” ^{1 John 2:2}

~ “The issue is here, John, that no man will ever be taken away from the book of life that is clearly in the scriptures, because that would be loss of salvation. And it’s impossible for a man who has been saved, to be unsaved.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

When You Are Born Again, The Holy Spirit Comes to Live in You Immediately!

~ We are told once again that Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Jesus. And for us (those who place faith in Jesus), resurrection happens immediately upon being born again of the Spirit of God. God’s Spirit brings life to our spiritual death. We have eternal life at that very moment in time.

~ Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25

~ “But Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. And he who believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live, and whosoever lives and believes in me, will never die. Now there again, he’s talking about two completely different kinds of death. I’m the resurrection and the life and whosoever believes in me, though he were dead, well you can’t believe in someone when you’re dead physically, can you?… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Is The Resurrection

~ Jesus is our Resurrection! When you place faith in Jesus, he raises you immediately from the dead spiritually. On this side of the cross, you become born again of the Spirit of God. His Spirit, gives life to you that is eternal. Jesus provided a physical example of a spiritual truth. Even though we die (sleep in Christ Jesus) we live eternally with him forever. Someday we receive a new body that is waiting for us. For flesh and blood cannot enter the Kingdom of God.

~ “Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”

Martha answered, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

“Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.” ^{John 11:23-27}

Jesus Came to Explain What the Word of God Means

~ There are those walking around today that can spout out the word of God left and right and still don’t have a clue what the word of God means. They are dead lost. In fact, they will live their lives as though God is telling them to kill Goliath, when in reality God has a new set of commands that very few obey; believing in Jesus. Many still pick and choose from the old testament, certain things that God said. They act like Moses, when God told Moses to speak to the rock for water, and instead he struck the rock twice [Numbers 20:7-12].

~ “But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

God Did Not Give us a Spirit of Fear But of Power and Love

~ “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” ^{2 Timothy 1:7}

~ There was a followup call by Ann who wanted to add more insight into doctors and what doctors are doing today of imparting fear into people and also killing them or running a person into the ground with the administering of drugs themselves. All decisions should NOT be based on fear. But in every decision we make take it to the Lord in prayer, and listen to the Holy Spirit who is alive living in you if you are in Christ Jesus for He has given us the mind of God, living in us to make sound decisions. Also, in today’s program, Bob goes into the details of the gospel. For many are believing something other than the true gospel, which is no gospel at all.

~ “Hi, Bob. I just wanted to especially thank you for the way you handle that call of the man with the brain cancer a while ago, I was so happy to hear you mentioned that Christians should not be making their decisions about treatment from fear.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

The Perfect Love of Jesus Casts Away ALL Fear

~ There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” ^{1 John 4:18}

~ It’s so important for us to remember that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. No one gets out of this world in their body of flesh that they were first born into. The child of God has a much better hope waiting for them, a new body that will never see sickness or decay. That is something all of us in Christ Jesus have to look forward to.

~ “For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
