Discovering the Grace of God Through His Word

~ There are people today that place the emphasis on learning about the grace of God by going to a seminary. Or hearing from someone that is a doctor of divinity, as though that piece of paper places a person on a pedestal of understanding in order to teach the word of God. There are even people today that want to know what seminary a person has gone to as to whether they are going to listen to that person or not. Once again, these all are a form of man’s teaching instead of being taught by the Holy Spirit.

The number one place to learn about the grace of God is through the Scriptures. Once a person has accepted Jesus, and the Holy Spirit comes to live in them, they will want to know more and more about Jesus. And the prime place to learn is the actual word of God. And the Holy Spirit will explain the meaning of God’s Word too. “Well, did they get it? No, still didn’t get it. So they’re asking questions to kind of get back to where do you gotta give me some more food? But they say, Well, then, if this is the case, that you’re the one who gives us this eternal life that you’re talking about? What must we do? To do the work that God requires? What must we do? In order to please God? How many of you have ever asked that question? How many of you ever sat around saying what do I have to do to please God? ~ “The good news of the gospel, it’s finished, we have been reconciled to God, God’s part. All of this is from God who was reconciling the world unto Himself, not counting man sins against them. What’s our part? We implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. He said, here’s the one part and Corinthians Second Corinthians, he’s saying, this is of God, this is what God did. Faith Says Thank You to God for What Jesus Did for Us

~ The overwhelming majority of pastors and teachers teach ongoing forgiveness by God. Both Catholics and Protestants are two sides of the same coin. The Catholic goes to the confession booth to get forgiven by a priest and the Protestant says, no no, we can go directly to God to get our sins forgiven. They both are teaching the lies of Satan. They both forget about what the scriptures says that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness [ref. Hebrews 9:22]. They have no idea the meaning of what Jesus said on the cross, “It is finished.” We call God a liar by constantly asking for what he has already done. That is not living by faith it is living by presumption and unbelief. We don’t go to God to get our sins forgiven today, we come to God for Life, His eternal Life!
