The Work of God is to Believe in Jesus

 ~ Then they inquired, “What must we do to perform the works of God?”

Jesus replied, “The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent.” John 6:28,29

~ There are numerous people today that come up with all types of doing good works requirements for being saved, and yet when you question them, what are the good works that must be done to be saved? They have no answer. The legalists love using this doing good works argument to point out to others, you’ve got to do “good works” in order to be saved. Okay, if that is the case, how many and what are they? Most of the time you will get silence from them when you question them. Other times they will quote Scripture out of context, and repeat something from the book of James, James 2:20-26 yet will never provide the examples of works represented in the book of James itself.

Jesus is Our Very LIFE Now

 ~ Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live, even though he dies. And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25,26

When you receive Jesus, and accept Him as God in the flesh, for having taken away all your sins at the cross, then by faith you are agreeing with God, and He gives you eternal LIFE at that very moment in time. Salvation is LIFE, not getting your sins forgiven. Salvation is the very Life of God, the Holy Spirit coming to indwell you. And nothing you do can kick the Holy Spirit out of you. Why? Because “the Law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the Law of sin and death.” Romans 8:2 So rest in TRUTH. Believe it. Don’t let anyone deceive you into thinking you can lose life. Because Life is permanent, eternal, and it is something you have the very moment He comes to live in you. Jesus is The Resurrection And The LIFE

 ~ Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live, even though he dies. And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25,26

~ When you receive Jesus, and what He did for you at the cross, He comes to live in you and gives you Eternal Life, the very moment you place Faith in Him. Life begins the minute you have Jesus living in you. His Spirit now lives in you if you have received Him. He will always be there for you and in you. You become a New creation the very moment that happens. You become a child of God.

Even if we accept human testimony, the testimony of God is greater. Repentance is a Change of Mind

 ~ “The time is fulfilled,” He said, “and the kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe in the gospel!” Mark 1:15

– It is interesting to note, when you start paying attention to the details, that pastors can talk about Jesus having forgiven the sins of the world, and have many sermons on the matter, and then at the end of their sermons will negate everything they said, and spread satan’s lie of getting more forgiveness by God when a person sins, as though they lose their salvation, or go in and out of fellowship with God. The 1 John 1:9 passage of scripture is what people camp on, and never look at the meaning of words. They believe the lie of confession is asking forgiveness to God, instead of agreeing with God that ALL your sins were taken away at the cross. They make the Greek word translated as “IF” as a conditional “If” in order to make something happen, instead of understanding it is a “whether or not” type of “If” statement in the Greek. And then they preach the lie on top of that, that God will forgive you “If” you ask for it, instead of understanding that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.”… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Goodbye Is Not Forever

 ~ “Now we are confident and are pleased rather to be absent out of the body, and to be at home with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:8

The Truth of the Word of God is someday we will get to see our loved ones in Christ Jesus. And remember, to be absent from the body and be present with the Lord is what we ALL have to look forward to for those who have the Holy Spirit of God living in them. Listen in to today’s show, where Bob and Amy George share some things with a man who is grieving the loss of a spouse.

~ As a prisoner in the Lord, then, I urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling you have received: with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, and with diligence to preserve the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:1-3

Folks, we each have a calling by God if you are in Christ Jesus. And His calling is good, in order to make known the gospel of Jesus to those around us. Each of us has a calling by God. He wants to use each of us in a Spirit of unity. And when a person is in Christ, they are one with God, and are of ONE body, and have the same Spirit as other TRUE children of God.

Now today, most claim they are in Christ, but by their fruits you can tell otherwise. And it is easy to make people think they are in Christ simply by saying some words to make others think they are of Christ.
