“Forget The Former Things; do Not Dwell on the Past.

~ We cannot change the past. Everything we have done in the past cannot be changed. The past is one second ago, one minute ago, one hour ago, one day ago, one year ago… We also do not know the future (as God only knows the future). All we can do is live by faith in the moment. Yet we all tend to bring up the past, and some more than others. People get depressed when they focus on the past or focus on what “might” happen to them in the future (as in worrying about tomorrow). Jesus had much to tell us about ourselves, if we would only listen. He told us not to worry about tomorrow.

So, whether you are focusing on yesterday, that you cannot change, or worrying about tomorrow, which is in God’s hands, you end up focusing on yourself. And that causes a person to think depressing thoughts. And the more depressing the thoughts become the more depressed a person gets. And then people will go to groups of people, to speak with other depressed people, that they too will share their depressing thoughts, and all are in a great big pity party.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

The Unpardonable Sin is The Rejection of Jesus

~ The rejection of Jesus comes in many different forms. There are those that deny Jesus outright, and don’t believe he is God in the flesh. Then there are those that reject what Jesus did on the cross. This is a more subtle form of rejection of Jesus, because it is difficult for other people to tell whether a person is saved or not. Most people that claim they are Christian will actually agree that Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. But by their actions, it is obvious that they don’t believe they are completely forgiven and that they continue to ask for more forgiveness by God. This is true of both Catholics and Protestants that claim to be “Christian.” Obviously only God knows who is really saved, born again of the Spirit (has the Holy Spirit living in them for life), but we are told to judge and test the spirits. For NOT all spirits are of God. Yet we tend to overlook that very instruction in the word of God. Your Sins Are Forgiven

The Body of Christ Jesus is The Church ~ Church is Not a Building on the Corner of Walk and Don’t Walk ~ All Your Sins Have Been (Past Tense) Forgiven.

~ Today, most pastors and teachers are teaching the error of your sins are not forgiven until you ask for it from God. They don’t believe the Word of God and are double-minded in their belief system. With one part of their mouth they say all your sins have been forgiven, past, present and future, and the very next words out of their mouth are, but if you confess it he will forgive your sins again. They do that over and over again. There is no difference between the Catholic and the Protestant, both deny the finished work of Jesus on the cross. They refuse to exercise faith in Him.

Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” Hebrews 10:17

There is only one response you can do the next time you sin, and that is to say Thank you God for having taken it away at the cross.

Allow the Holy Spirit Living in You to Renew Your Mind With Truth

In order to grow in Christ, we need to replace error with truth. But do we recognize the error? How would we if we are not spending time in God’s word relying on the Spirit of God living in us to teach us. A common mistake that hinders growth is relying on denominational persuasions on what truth is.

A common hindrance to growth is all the denominations not teaching truth. Listen as a caller asks a question concerning a church practice of home churches for today, as if that is the only way church structure should be done according to some people, that led into a conversation about the church being a mess today. The church is not a mess because of its organizational structure even though that brought about some of the mess. What good does it do where the whole church is doing the same thing? There is one denomination where the pastor looks alike and everybody looks alike, and that is not even the problem with the church. Taken Away Forever

Synopsis

People say, “God is the same yesterday, today and forever and everything is the same.” No, everything is not the same. God changed things when He ushered in the New Covenant. There was an Old Covenant that was replaced. Under the Old Covenant, you had rules and regulations, with the ten commandments along with dietary laws, that say if you do this, then God will do this. There was a temporary covering for sins, a temporary sacrificial system of shedding the blood of bulls and goats that could never take away sins. There were promises under the Old Covenant, mostly physical in nature, of having their physical needs provided for them, and to be God”s treasured possession, if they just obeyed. But the law was never added so man could be made right with God. It was added so mankind may recognize his sinful state, his condition of spiritual death, like a mirror to see dirt on your face, so he may seek a Savior. It was a system that was to only last until the time of Christ.

So you read the category on worry and fear, and as you read you begin to read about a God you do not yet know, but you are being drawn to this person because of all the wonderful promises and the hope laid out for you in His word.
