We all have many questions as we are growing in the knowledge and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. And we are continuing to grow until the day we die. So we will go through trials and tribulations in this fallen world we live in. People will cause us harm or emotional pain by the choices they make, and at times, we will slip up and do that to others. So how do we deal with such things, as we get into different situations in life?

Are we supposed to claim verses as promises of God for us, like the “name it and claim it” people do, or just say whatever God’s will is, and be okay with that? Do we attribute something as God’s will when it is really the will of some other man walking in the flesh? Synopsis

As you read the scriptures, there are some passages you find that are just difficult to understand, particularly passages in Ezekiel and Revelation. In such cases, all you can say is, “I do not know”, and that is okay. There are those things, like in Ezekiel, that can be considered interpretive speculation as to what they represent. Unless it is spelled out in detail that this is what it represents, it is just speculation. It is best to just hold onto those passages that are clear, that you know is true.

The most important message to understand from the scriptures, and the scriptures are very clear on this, is the gospel, the message of good news that Jesus tells us in order to enter heaven. I would not advise asking someone whether they believe in heaven or hell, but rather ask them if you ever discovered knowing Christ in a personal way. That is what they really need to be able to come to have an answer from the scriptures.

The Lord said to us so we have the privilege of choosing to let Him live His life in and through us. But we also have the choice not to do so, but it would make no sense to do so. We are no longer under the law but under grace. That does not give us a license to sin, for we can do that without the law. Indeed, the law is what stirs up sin. But under grace, when you are truly born again, you have this attitude of gratitude, of the deep mercy and mercy of God towards you ,that you are compelled to live in the new way of the Spirit, who lives in you.

Jesus told us that the gospel will go out into all the world and then the end will come. So we are busy about doing what God has called us to do, to make God known. The reason we are here is to proclaim Him. Make the most of every opportunity, for the days are evil.

Jesus Christ is the solution to the world’s problems. It will not be solved by peace treaties and doing good to others. The problem goes deeper than that. It is a problem in the human heart, of mankind being born dead to God. We are born dead spiritually, that is, without the Spirit of God living in us. Unless a man is born again, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. The only life available to mankind is the resurrected life of Christ Jesus.

All of us are weak in our natural selves. We are told to boast in our weaknesses that the power of Christ might rest on us. We are not called to live a natural life, but a supernatural life. That life to be lived is not us, but Christ in us, as we rest and abide in Him. He loves us unconditionally and has given us everything we need for life and godliness. He shed his blood on a cross only to rise again so He can give His life to us, to be placed in us and to be lived through us. If He is for us and will never leave us and forsake us, who can be against us? We grab a hold of those promises of God, of who we are in Christ,and the power of the love of Christ within us, and little by little we grow and people see the fruit and testify that God is truly at work within you.
