Stand in the Righteousness of Jesus

Lifted by Encouragement Part 3

~ But now, apart from the law, the righteousness of God has been revealed, as attested by the Law and the Prophets. And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Romans 3:21-24

A child of God is righteous in the sight of God not based on anything they do, but EVERYTHING Jesus did. And when God looks at us, He sees Christ in us, through the Holy Spirit, and as such, we are to be who we are. Stop walking as the lost do. Stop listening to the flesh, that is stroked by satan and the things of the world today. Put off falsehood. ~ Put off your former way of life, your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be renewed in the spirit of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:22-24

When we are placed into the body of Christ Jesus, and He has placed His Spirit into us, we are to stop focusing on our old self. That was the way we thought in the past, before we came to know Jesus and before the Holy Spirit came to live in us, but now we are to operate in the New self, the New Creation in Christ Jesus, through the Spirit who lives in you. Stop with the idea of doing it “my way.” Stop with the thinking that “I am always right.” Stop with the attitude that of propping myself up in the world. Stop with the pride of showing off. Folks, we each have a calling by God if you are in Christ Jesus. And His calling is good, in order to make known the gospel of Jesus to those around us. Each of us has a calling by God. He wants to use each of us in a Spirit of unity. And when a person is in Christ, they are one with God, and are of ONE body, and have the same Spirit as other TRUE children of God.

Now today, most claim they are in Christ, but by their fruits you can tell otherwise. And it is easy to make people think they are in Christ simply by saying some words to make others think they are of Christ. There is Nothing to Boast About Before God

~ For consider your calling, brothers, that not many were wise according to the flesh, not many powerful, not many of noble birth. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world that He might shame the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world that He might shame the strong; and the low-born of the world, and the things being despised, God also chose—the things not being—that He might annul the things being, so that all flesh may not boast before God. Salvation is Life Through Jesus Life

Classic Christianity – No Boasting Here – Part 2 – 6-17-25

We Are Saved By The Life of Jesus, Not His Death

~ For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Romans 5:10
It is so important to understand that we are NOT saved by the death of Jesus on the cross, but by His very Life, that brings Life to us when we place Faith in Him. This is one of the most misunderstood Truths in regards to salvation. Scripture is crystal clear on this. God reconciled us to Himself. He didn’t consult with anyone beforehand, He did it at the cross through the sacrifice of Jesus Himself on the cross. He declared it is finished. Forgiveness was taken care of. He reconciled us to himself. Forgiveness was settled for everyone at the cross. At the cross, He who knew no sin, became sin for us, so that in Him (in Jesus), we might become the righteousness of God.

Salvation is Not by Works

Classic Christianity – No Boasting Here – Part 1 – 6-16-25

No Boasting Here

~ God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21
There is only one gospel that saves, and that is NOT the one that is being shared in most brick and mortar churches today. Those are other gospels, which is NO gospel at all.

Jesus who was perfect, for no sin was found in Him, and He was and is God in the flesh. He was born a perfect Man, lived a perfect life, and went to the cross on our behalf, becoming sin for us, and bore ALL our sins on the cross, taking away all the sins of the world for everyone, dying on the cross, and then on the third day rising from the dead to give us His Life when we place Faith in Him.
