Classic Christianity – The Book of John P29 (04-11-23)

Jesus Declares, “I Am The Bread of LIFE”

~ Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. 40 For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.” John 6:35-40

“And so when you’re asking a question, what do you do for Jesus? The answer is believe him, trust in him. The very Jesus that gave his life for you is the very Jesus who gave … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Confess Jesus is God in Flesh

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P06 (02-15-23)

Jesus Is God in Flesh ~ Agree With The Word of God

~ There are many folks that want to claim that Mary was a perpetual virgin, yet we see in scripture that after she gave birth to Jesus, conceived by the Holy Spirit, Mary and Joseph had other sons and daughters through normal marriage sexual relations.

~ When Jesus had finished these parables, he moved on from there and coming to his hometown, He began teaching the people in the synagogue, and they were amazed. Where did this man get his wisdom? And these are miraculous powers. They asked, isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary? And aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas? And aren’t all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things, and they took offense at Him. But Jesus said to them only in his hometown in his own house, is a prophet without honor, and he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.

Okay, so there in that passage, you find out that he had four brothers and sisters. So you … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Jesus Turns Water Into Wine

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P05 (02-14-23)

Jesus Turns Water Into Wine ~ His First Recorded Miracle

“On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.” “Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” John 2:1-5

~ “Then you have the wedding of Cana. And this was the first of Jesus miracles. So on the third day, it says a wedding took place in Cana in Galilee. And it says that Jesus mother was there, then Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the wedding. Now we have to assume because of what takes place following this, that Mary had some kind of a job at that wedding. She might have been the wedding coordinator has an example very likely that’s what it was. And that’s why she was there and made the invitation to her son and, and his friends who we know is his … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Jesus God The Creator Made All Things

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P03 (02-08-23)

The Word, Jesus Became Flesh

~ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

We Are Under the NEW Covenant of Grace Not the Old Covenant of the Law

~ “For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.” Hebrews 9:15

~ Thank God, He is NOT counting my sins against me!

~ “And we’re told in Hebrews. Let me just read, it’s hard to read when you’re in the wrong chapter, Hebrews 9:15, do you want to turn to it. For this reason He is the mediator of a New Covenant in order that since a death had taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of in eternal inheritance. For where a covenant is, there must of necessity be the death of the one who made it. So what did Jesus have to do before he got usher in a New Covenant, a new agreement between God and man. Had to die. And when he … Listen to Broadcast & Read More
