Jesus Gives Us His Mind

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P10 (02-27-23)

If You Are In Christ Jesus, You Have The Mind of Christ Living in You ~ Abide in Him

~ “For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 2:16

~ “You don’t have to get all engrossed in the things of the world. Because the things of the world are going to continue going downhill, unless it’s got leaders who are in Christ Jesus, and who listen to the leading and the teaching of the Holy Spirit of God that lives in us.

And so we have to understand the truth of these things. That we are privileged above all people, to have an ability to plug in to truth, and to be set free with it. Instead of listening to the gobbly gook of the world, that is constantly deceiving people in one form or another. Advertising is nothing but a lure with a hook in it. And that’s exactly what we have to deal with in this world. Do we get out of it? No, we stay in it. But we stay in it with a proclamation of truth.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Understanding the Word of God in Context is Key to Our Proper Understanding

~ “To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” Romans 2:7

~ Some people will take a single verse of scripture and twist the meaning of it because it is taken out of context. It is so important to study the word of God in the proper context to understand the true meaning of things. Don’t allow yourself to be swayed by a doctrine of man, taking something out of context and build a false doctrine of law on top of the word of God.

~ Cletus asks, “I have a question on Romans two, seven. I think I caught one of the days you were explaining it to somebody but I cut the end part of it. So I don’t know if you can help to explain that to me about sounds like Paul is contradicting salvation. I know it’s not a contradiction. So I just need a little bit of explanation on that.”

~ “Again, you have to take that, in context there and so where I would start is in chapter two, he’s talking to the people that say that, that you have no excuse you who pass judgment on someone else.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

New Covenant Forgive One Another as God Has Forgiven You

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P807 (02-09-23)

We Live Under a New Covenant Today

~` Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” Hebrews 10:17

~ “And so again, that was, that was true, up until the time of the New Covenant, that was ushered in at the death of Christ Jesus. And under the Old Covenant, he said, he gave us laws to keep, but he said, We didn’t keep them. And so therefore, he found fault with the people and declared, therefore that a New Covenant would go into existence whereby their sins and lawless acts, I will remember no more. And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins. And so that is the new covenant in comparison to the old covenant,. What was wrong with the old? Man couldn’t keep it, Right. Remember how Paul said that there was nothing wrong with the law, it’s holy and good, but when it flows through mid kills me, so it became an instrument of death to me instead of an instrument of life. Okay. And so that’s the purpose of the law is to show you and me that, number one, we can’t keep it.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Are You a Professor or a Possessor of Jesus

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P806 (02-03-23)

Are You a Professor or a Possessor of Jesus?

~ So many times people give lip service to what Jesus did on the cross. They do not place faith in the finished work, because by their actions they call God a liar. And at the same time, they also camp on the idea that one could lose their eternal salvation, because as a matter-of-fact, they don’t even understand what salvation is. Salvation is receiving Jesus, his eternal life in you, when you place faith in him for everything he did and having taken away the sins of the world (your sins too are included in that) at the cross, we can now shout it from the rooftop, It is FINISHED! Listen as Bob shares Truth with callers on the air.

~ “People who argue or even discuss, losing salvation, don’t know what salvation is. Salvation is an eternal act done by God on a person’s behalf and when God has given an eternal act that’s eternal. But again, what we’re saved from is the consequence of sin, which is Death, The wages of sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Salvation is Eternal Life in Him

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P803 (01-26-23)

When a Person is In Christ Jesus, They HAVE ETERNAL LIFE!

~ Salvation is Life, it is NOT getting your sins forgiven.

~ “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:12

~ Caller 1 1:02
I just have a question on salvation I’m struggling with I believe that you can’t lose it but the church I go to they believe you can. And it’s kind of hard because he showed me a lot of Scripture that shows that you that kind of saying that you can. And I don’t know..

Bob George 1:20
Well Rodney a person that believes you can lose your salvation does not understand what salvation is, I can say that with no exception. They just plain do not understand what salvation is. What you’re saved from IS THE WAGES OF SIN, which is death. And the way you’re saved from the wages of sin, which is death is by the gift of God, which is life. And it says in the scripture, He who has the Son has that life, and he does not have the Son of God does not have that life.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus is Eternal Life Giver

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P800 (01-13-23)

Eternal Life is Eternal ~ You Cannot Lose Eternal Life!

~ “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” 1 John 5:13

~ Yet people want to argue with God, and call God a liar.

~ Manual 14:42
“You can lose it, you know, or you can lose it.”

~ Bob George 14:44
“No, no, you cannot. If you say no, we’re gonna go off Manual. I am not going to argue nonsense. If you want to believe that is because you’re lost my friend. Again. As I said, I know I hate to say that. But the book of Hebrews says if you continually willfully sinning against the knowledge of truth. You’ve heard the knowledge of truth, and you keep sinning against it. The only thing you’ve got to look forward to is going to hell. I don’t want you to go to hell, I don’t want anybody to go to hell. But I want people to come to Christ by faith and faith says, You did it all. No one can snatch me up, can I get you out of my hands.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
