~ Today, people have all kinds of idols set on their mantels, their walls, and in the recesses of their minds. Most worship at the foot of man made creations, and statues, and paintings, and alters, and buildings, and made up images of Mary and Jesus that are nothing more than objects that Satan wants you to worship. Many even worship the image of a cross or a crucifix, and think that pleases God. They worship people, politicians, actors, singers, and even worship ministers as though they have all the answers. Yet most pastors and ministers today are agents for Satan. That should be obvious to the most casual observer, for most are teaching big time lies of Satan, that actually deny the finality of the cross. People listen to what their itching ears want to hear, and could care less what the Holy Spirit wants to teach them. Catholics bow down to their idols in their buildings. The Law Was Given to Lead Us to Christ Jesus!

~ The law was given to show us our need for Christ Jesus and so that sin would actually increase and we become more aware of sin today. There are modern day Pharisees (hypocrites) that think they can somehow obey even the 10 today. They lie to themselves and God, saying they obey the 10 Commandments and don’t have a clue that God is looking at the heart. No one obeys the 10 Commandments or any part of the law. Furthermore, if anyone could obey the law, then Jesus died for nothing. In fact, people that say they are obeying the law of God, the word of God tells us that they are under a curse. The bottom line, the law is for the lost not the saved.

Bob continues sharing from John 4 and John 5. In John 4, we read about Jesus healing a Father’s son. His father came to Jesus begging him to heal his son, having heard all that Jesus did, knowing of his healing power. In John 5, we read about a man who was disabled for 38 years, in a state of self pity, and was asked by Jesus if he wanted to get well.

Bob explains the more important reason Jesus came. He came to heal the person, spiritual healing, as of utmost importance.
