Bob George TeachingWelcome to Classic Christianity radio with Bob George, where Bob’s clear and timeless teachings on the complete forgiveness and unconditional love of Jesus Christ will transform your life as you learn about God’s amazing grace. Let’s join Bob as he teaches us from God’s word.

Bob shared different ways people come up with on how people are saved. Some believe that salvation is determined by your religious affiliation or denomination. Others say you have to be baptized, and in a certain denomination by a certain person. Bob then explains from scripture that salvation is being saved from the wages of sin, which is death, by the gift of God, which is eternal life in Jesus Christ. Bob then elaborates on how people have not grasped the concept that God does not punish us for sin since all the punishment of sin was placed on Jesus. Bob then explains how Christians are persecuted by the world. That in this world it is inevitable that persecution will come.

Believe in Jesus

Original Message Date: 11/30/97 Classic Christianity – Bob George Part 1 (1-7-19)

Bob George Teaching

Welcome to Classic Christianity radio with Bob George, where Bob’s clear and timeless teachings on the complete forgiveness and unconditional love of Jesus Christ will transform your life as you learn about God’s amazing grace. Let’s join Bob as he teaches us from God’s word.

Bob shares from scripture about the role of pastors and teachers, as gifts to the church, to equip the saints for the work of ministry. From scripture Bob explains what the work of ministry really is, to believe in Jesus. So the work of a teacher or pastor is the same work of an evangelist, prophet, or apostle, with the only difference being the audience of primary focus. That is, the primary audience for an evangelist is the lost whereas for the pastor or teacher, is the church. Bob continues to explain what a Christian is, that is, what it means to be saved, to have new life in Jesus Christ. Bob elaborates on how a lost person thinks about what a Christian is; about being good or bad, or belonging to a certain church, or being baptized by a certain person or … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Classic Christianity – Call-In Bob George p397 (12-06-18)

Bob George RadioWelcome to Classic Christianity radio from Bob George. From the original People to People radio, on the air for over 30 years, Bob answers questions from callers. He explains spiritual truth, applying such truth so men can walk in freedom in Christ for which Christ has set them free. Sometimes callers simply thank Bob for helping them understand truth and are deeply grateful. Other callers are bogged down in error from things they have heard or been taught in religion. Beth calls to ask Bob if it is a sin to not go to church. Bob tells her it is not a sin and explains what the church really is and explains the role of pastors and elders and the role of Jesus Christ as the head of the true church, which is His body. Lisa asked if under a New Covenant if man can have more than one wife. Bob answered from scripture that the answer is clearly no. And even under the Old Covenant and even from the beginning of creation, in Genesis God’s design has always been one man and one woman in what is rightly called marriage. Classic Christianity – Call-In Bob George p394 (11-16-18)

Bob George RadioWelcome to Classic Christianity radio from Bob George. From the original People to People radio, on the air for over 30 years, Bob answers questions from callers. He offers real answers to real problems with truth from God’s word. The first caller, Niles, is a father with six children, struggling in his marriage. Bob asked several questions to help him discern whether his wife is a born again believer. He gave practical advice in either case. If she is not born again, then he is unequally yoked and she does not have the ability to discern the things of God nor would she be inclined to do so. But, if both are believers, then as the leader of the home, he can approach his wife and appeal to her to study the scriptures together to get God’s wisdom, to ask God what he thinks about the subject of contention. So, it would no longer be about what I think or she thinks but what God thinks! The second caller, Beth, asked Bob if she does not go to a local church, then is she sinning. She made reference to the scripture that … Listen to Broadcast & Read More
