Jesus Forgave You Completely of All Sins

Synopsis

The word “brainwashing” is used a lot more today. In regard to the vaccination propaganda, with bribes for free doughnuts, cruises or college tuition, and peer pressure to comply and get the shot, as media continually broadcasts that it is safe and effective. Yet, why would well-renowned doctors, experts in virology, front line doctors, be willing to lose their license and their reputation by telling the truth?

So too with the disciples of Jesus Christ. Why would they lie about the resurrection of Jesus Christ? They saw Him on that waters edge to cast their net to the other side, and to become fishers of men. Why would they be willing to lose everything to tell about Jesus? Why would they be willing to be persecuted and face a martyr’s death for something they thought was a lie? That would not make sense. They believed Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Jesus.

Synopsis

I cannot emphasize this enough! If you do not get a handle on the difference between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant you will be confused the rest of your life in regard to biblical interpretation. You have no framework in which to interpret scriptures. It would be like putting scriptures in a hat, and pulling them out one by one and trying to make sense of it with no surrounding context. You read an Old Testament scripture that says if you do not forgive your brother from your heart neither will I forgive you. So, without understanding that was written in the context of a Jew under an Old Covenant agreement still in existence then in contrast to a New Covenant we live under today, you think you have to get your sins forgiven, or keep yourself forgiven through continually confessing your sins to God. Synopsis

Have you ever pondered the sacrifice Jesus made for you? He came to this earth, demonstrated He is God by the things He said and did, and eyewitnesses, the apostles, confirmed that by writing down what they saw and heard. But the ultimate demonstration of His love is He laid down His life for us, only to be raised up to new life again, for our sake. No greater love is there than that.

Unfortunately, many people today do not understand all that Jesus did. Even people who are members of mainline denominations have not understood. Why are people still sacrificing today so as to keep in fellowship with God, to ask God to forgive them when they sin? Or to go to a priest or a confessional booth to get their sins forgiven? When Jesus shed His blood on a cross, and Jesus being God in the flesh, did His one time sacrifice on a cross take away only some sins but not all sins? John the Baptist certainly did not think so. Synopsis

As you study the scriptures, hold onto those things that are true. Do not let more obscure passages lead you into confusion and error. Let us not forget that the goal of instruction is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. The only thing that counts is faith that expresses itself in love.

There are scriptures that are very clear, such as the gospel, that requires faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and nothing added to that, nothing that you do, but what God alone has done for you in Christ Jesus. Hold onto that truth, that in Christ Jesus, you are a forgiven person, and that you have eternal life because of the eternal consequence of the cross, with His righteousness imputed to you. You must have a firm grasp on such truth. Be single-minded on that, and do not be double-minded, mixing law and grace, or doubting that Jesus took away all your sins, thinking that He only took away some of your sins. Synopsis

It seems the message of the gospel, of proclaiming truth in Christ Jesus, has to be continually told because there are always new people born into this world, dead spiritually, and who are being raised by the same training centers that never get set aside or never stop speaking error, for they hold onto error, for they have never heard the truth themselves, or stopped to test all things with the word of God. Seminaries continue to put out the same teaching year after year.

And if that is not bad enough, more error gets added, more infiltrators get into those teaching centers called the modern church, and instead of teaching truth, they teach error, law mixed with grace at best. But whether it is speaking in tongues or tithes for today, error continues on. Then new errors get added it seems, if not spiritual formation, then critical race theory, or something else. It seems the battle for the souls of men gets harder day by day, as truth is being suppressed, not just by the church-house, which is heart-breaking itself, but by those in power and authority over us, by the government and social culture also.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Synopsis

So many people go through life hanging onto what they have been taught, whether right or wrong. If something is repeatedly shared since your youth, and you do not stop to ponder your life and your ways, you may die in that state. What a sad and heart-breaking way to live, either lost or without joy in your life, not experiencing the abundant life God had promised. Have you just stopped to think about your life? Why are tears streaming down my face? Certainly you can have tears when you lose a job or your own son suddenly dies under circumstances that should not have happened. But why have tears when you are seemingly at the top of your game, at the height of your career, adored by men? What is this emptiness that I feel? What is wrong with me? If I am believer, I know certainly there is nothing wrong with God or the words that Jesus spoke about concerning the abundant life He promised, that I should be experiencing?
