Those Who Think They Can Lose Eternal Salvation Don’t Know What Salvation Is

~ Salvation is eternal life in Christ Jesus. It is NOT getting your sins forgiven. There are so many in the world today that think they can lose eternal life when they sin, because they don’t understand what Jesus did on the cross for the sins of the whole world. We hear this time and again. People are out there thinking they get more forgiveness from God or get more righteousness from God when they use their false understanding of 1 John 1:9 as a means of keeping themselves clean before God. They keep on keeping on asking for what God has already done. They make a mockery of the cross and treat it as an unholy thing.

Satan has done a number on the world too, making people think they are saved, when they are still dead lost in their unbelief. They have NOT exercised faith in the finished work on the cross. God is Not a Forgiveness Vending Machine

~ Most people believe the lie of ongoing forgiveness by God. They refuse to place faith in the finished work of Jesus on the cross and even calling Jesus a liar by their very actions. They wrongly believe and teach that 1 John 1:9 means to ask for forgiveness from God. First off, the word confess in the Greek means to agree with God. It never meant to ask for forgiveness. Yet that is still how the word confess is improperly understood in the world today and the worst offenders of that false teaching is within the organized church. Most people believe they plop in their prayer requests to God for forgiveness and out magically pops forgiveness by God. They even believe in several types of forgiveness, “positional forgiveness” and “experiential forgiveness” or whatever terms people are assigning to the various forms of forgiveness being taught today. Understanding the Truth of Completed Forgiveness And The Finality of the Cross

~ In today’s corporate church world, the truth of the finality of the cross and the completeness of forgiveness on the cross is NOT taught. Instead, what is being taught today is simply a form a works based forgiveness and a mixture of law and grace, thinking that getting a person’s sins forgiven gives life to the dead. They don’t teach that a person is saved by the resurrected life of Christ Jesus, NOT his death.

Why don’t more pastors and teachers teach the truth of 1st John 1:9 today? Because it is not popular.

And this so called world, Christian world, by teaching a Christian bar soap is not a bar soap. And we have grabbed a hold of something there that God never intended us to grab a hold up, but to the people who study the original language with a sincere and open heart, as I had the challenge, ultimately got my Greek understanding of that by going to the the number one teacher of Greek at the Dallas Theological Seminary, and then ultimately going to the teacher in Greece himself. It’s saying, if you do this, God will do that, that puts God in a position of being a responder and I’m being the initiator. And that puts me in a position of being greater than God. Very simple.
