Jesus Wants You to Enter Into The Promised Land

~ Just as the Israelites of the days they came out of Egypt and crossed over the Red Sea, by the power of God, they still refused to go into the promised land, we are much like them today. They refused to trust God and refused to cross over from the desert, into a land flowing with milk and honey. So too with us. We get saved and are set free from being a slave in Egypt, but still live as a slave in the desert. We fail to trust God and cross over into the promised land. We can be busy and barren in the desert or we can live in the promised land that Jesus provided for us and be rich and alive in Christ Jesus, where you rest from your works and live in Him. Jesus Said, “Take Off The Grave Clothes”

~ Jesus Raises Lazarus From the Dead ~ John 11:38-44
38 Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 39 “Take away the stone,” he said.

“But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.”

40 Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”

Trying to Obey the Law Will Cause More Sin in Your Life ~ The Answer: Live By Faith in the One Who Took Away All Your Sins on the Cross!

~ So in Romans 5:20 were say, the law was added so that the trespass might increase. In other words, did we just not read that the law was added because of transgressions, until the seed came. And it was added, so that the trespass, the transgression might increase, but where sin increased, Grace increased all the more, so that just as Sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness, to bring what? eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. So we’re going to see that wherever we are as Christians, under the law, that you’re going to see that the power of sin is in the law. Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Law & Grace P07 (10-03-22)

When You Place Faith in Christ, He is Credited to You as Righteousness ~ Rest Today in His Righteousness!

~ And so and by faith, Israel was saved. They weren’t saved through the law. They were saved by faith. Moses, believed God that was credited to him his righteousness. The Israelites believed Moses, and followed him over into the desert by faith and faith alone. So that’s an interesting thing, isn’t it that that here, even the Israelites were saved by faith, not by the law, but by faith. Now, then the Israelites in the desert, wanted some law. And so God said, Well, okay, I’ll get I’ll give you some law. And then we talked about last week about what the stringency of that law is, here it is, and I’m commanding you to keep all of it, every single bit of it, and the response from the Israelite was, we will do it, Lord. In other words, don’t worry about us, we will do it.
