Classic Christianity – Call-In Bob George p395 (11-29-18)

Bob George RadioWelcome to Classic Christianity Radio as Bob George answers questions from callers to real life problems, offering hope and truth in Jesus Christ. Julie, the first caller, is a believer, but is walking according to the flesh, in obvious and blatant sin, because she has a faulty belief system and had made the same wrong choices. Therefore, she was not experiencing God’s love, joy, peace, patience, the fruit of the Spirit, that God wants for her. The second caller, Chip, called simply to thank Bob, recounting the early years, when he approached memorizing scriptures but without understanding its meaning, and so was bound up living in error. He was very grateful to Bob for his teaching of the New Covenant that helped transform his thinking and manner of living. The third caller, Katie, was experiencing anxiety and understandably so since her husband walked away from her marriage after 2 years. Bob gives her practical advise, basic insight into the root cause of marital problems, the encouragement to think truthfully, and take one day at a time. Bob also reached out to both her and her husband, if he is willing, to listen to a tape series on marriage as a possible means to restore their marriage.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Classic Christianity – Call-In Bob George p394 (11-16-18)

Welcome to Classic Christianity radio from Bob George. From the original People to People radio, on the air for over 30 years, Bob answers questions from callers. He offers real answers to real problems with truth from God’s word. The first caller, Niles, is a father with six children, struggling in his marriage. Bob asked several questions to help him discern whether his wife is a born again believer. He gave practical advice in either case. If she is not born again, then he is unequally yoked and she does not have the ability to discern the things of God nor would she be inclined to do so. But, if both are believers, then as the leader of the home, he can approach his wife and appeal to her to study the scriptures together to get God’s wisdom, to ask God what he thinks about the subject of contention. So, it would no longer be about what I think or she thinks but what God thinks! The second caller, Beth, asked Bob if she does not go to a local church, then is she sinning. She made reference to the scripture that states one should not forsake the assembling together with other believers.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
