Jesus is Our Wisdom

~ If a person is in Christ Jesus, the Wisdom of God lives in them. For Jesus is our wisdom. And if that person is seeking wisdom of God on anything, all they have to do is ask, believing (placing faith in) God to do what He said he would do, and it shall be given to them in abundance. All we need to do is to trust in Him to do what he said he would do. Most people will not even ask, for they are trusting in the wisdom of man for most things in life. They will trust in their own understanding of things, and the teaching of man, instead of going to the word of God in all things. Yet the word of God has much to tell us about everything. The word of God talks about creation, yet most people love idolizing the creation itself. Most don’t believe in a whole earth flood, yet the word of God talks about that in great detail, and even Jesus speaks of that too. If You Are in Christ Jesus, You Are The Body of Christ, The Temple of God

~ We need to realize that our bodies no longer belong to us. They belong to Christ Jesus. For He bought us with a price. He bought us with His very Life. And it is His life that lives in and through the child of God today. God doesn’t just live up in heaven (which is right above us and is much closer than most imagine), but Jesus, God, his Holy Spirit is in us, teaching us, discipling us, training us, renewing our mind, and doing in and through us, what we could never do ourselves. The biggest challenge to allowing the Holy Spirit to do His work is for us to get out of the way, and abide in Him. Let Him do what he said he would do. Scripture tells us, we can do nothing in and of ourselves [John 15:5]. Yet many times we try, and try and try. Jesus Sent His Holy Spirit to Teach Truth

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P76 (07-31-23)

The Holy Spirit is the Person That Points us to Jesus

~ There is only one way to worship God today, and that is in Spirit and in Truth. First off, a person has to have the Holy Spirit alive living in them to worship in both Spirit and in Truth. If they do not have the Holy Spirit living in them then they are not a child of God and cannot worship in His Spirit. For God’s Spirit does not live in them. Second off, we need to worship in Truth. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. Only in Him can we begin to understand All Truth. And He said he would guide us in All Truth if we abide in him. But many want to lean on their own understanding of things, and let their flesh guide them instead of depending on the Holy Spirit to guide them. The beginning of all truth is found in Jesus. And the Holy Spirit points us to Jesus, the author of truth.

The Law Was Given to Lead Us to Christ Jesus!

~ The law was given to show us our need for Christ Jesus and so that sin would actually increase and we become more aware of sin today. There are modern day Pharisees (hypocrites) that think they can somehow obey even the 10 today. They lie to themselves and God, saying they obey the 10 Commandments and don’t have a clue that God is looking at the heart. No one obeys the 10 Commandments or any part of the law. Furthermore, if anyone could obey the law, then Jesus died for nothing. In fact, people that say they are obeying the law of God, the word of God tells us that they are under a curse. The bottom line, the law is for the lost not the saved.

~ “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” Romans 12:1

~ “And folks, what we ought to be doing is listening to what the Spirit of God living in us is saying to us. Because the only kind of worship that God’s interested in is when you worship in Spirit and in truth, where they’re the kind of worshipers that God seeks. Now God is Spirit we’re told, and his worshipers must worship in Spirit and in truth.
