Many get angry as hornets when you tell them that trying to obey the law will not save them, nor is God pleased with their self efforts. Others think that they are better than someone else, because they never physically murdered anyone, or committed adultery. But God is looking at the heart. Additionally, the child of God who abides in the Holy Spirit will face all types of name calling under the sun. As you learn more about the truth of this world, and see the lies all around us, people will call you crazy, or kick you out of their fellowship group because they will consider you very strange. ~ For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ John 1:17

~ For those that do not hear the Spirit of Truth, they do not belong to Jesus. They do not have the Holy Spirit living in them. There are those that will always listen to the spirit of flasehood and error. They will not repent (change their mind), because of pride of self. They believe in their heart they know better than God.

People Would Rather Believe Lies Than Listen to Truth From The Spirit of God

~ But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14

~ When a person abides in the Holy Spirit of God, if the Holy Spirit lives in them, they will be shown Truth. However, the flesh still tends to get in the way with even born again believers in Christ Jesus. Reminder, we were born into a world filled with lies.

As believers, we have given lip service to verses that show Satan has controlled the kingdoms of this world including the U.S. Most don’t have a clue of how deep the deception is, because we were born into it. Jesus is The Truth Setting You Free

The Enemy of Truth (Jesus) Are The Things of This World Controlled by Satan’s Lies

~ As he spake these words, many believed on him. Then said Jesus to those Judaeans [Ἰουδαίους (Ioudaious)] which believed on him, “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:30-32

~ Many times, when Jesus spoke to groups of people, there were both those that believed on Him and those that did not believe on Him. We see this happening right here in the word of God. Between John 8:30-32 and John 8:33. We can see the later group’s response that did NOT believe on Jesus in John 8:33. Jesus has many warnings for that group of people that carries over till today. Jesus Said to the Father Forgive Them

Jesus Said, “Father Forgive Them They Don’t Know What They Are Doing.”

~ Jesus spoke to the Father all the time. And we know that everything He did was the Father telling him to do it, and everything He said was the Father telling Him to say it. So when we see that Jesus spoke to the Father from the cross and said to “forgive them,” you can rest assured that God did indeed forgive them at the cross. For Jesus forgave (past tense) the sins of the whole world at the cross.

~ Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.” Luke 23:34
