Your Sins Have Been Forgiven by God

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P829 (04-27-23)

God Has Already Forgiven You (Past Tense) At The Cross!

~ Most teachers are preaching a lie of coming to Jesus to “get your sins forgiven.” Many of those that think they are saved are not saved, because they believe in the lie of ongoing forgiveness, or they think that it is their asking for forgiveness, even of the one time to get their sins forgiven that caused God to forgive them. Most in the Christian world doesn’t believe that the sins of the world Have Been Forgiven. Yet God says He is NOT counting anyone’s sins against them. And we know, that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Jesus is NOT going to sacrifice himself ever again.

~ “That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:19

~ “In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” Hebrews 9:22

You Have Been Reconciled to God! ~ Share The Truth With Others

~ “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:20

~ “The good news of the gospel, it’s finished, we have been reconciled to God, God’s part. All of this is from God who was reconciling the world unto Himself, not counting man sins against them. What’s our part? We implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. He said, here’s the one part and Corinthians Second Corinthians, he’s saying, this is of God, this is what God did. I reconciled you unto myself, not counting your sins against you. And then in five passages later he has to beg us to be reconciled. And he said, I implore you or I beg you on Christ behalf, be reconciled to God, he’s reconciled to you, be reconciled to Him. I’ve taken it off my accounts receivable, take off your accounts payable. It’s done. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin for you and me, so that in … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

You Must Be Born Again! Born Free!

~ Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” John 3:3

~ “Here’s the problem. Man is spiritually dead and in need of life. God created Adam and said to him, you’re free to eat any tree in the garden, but you must not eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. For the day you eat of that you’ll surely die. You can determine anything you want to accept right and wrong and good and evil. The day you decide, you don’t need God to determine that, that you can determine it on your own, you’re gonna die. And God gave Adam a choice to either remain dependent on him for life, or to become independent from him which is spiritual death. Wanting to become like God, Adam ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and that day he died spiritually. And each of us are born into this world, in the likeness of Adam’s sin and death has been passed on to every … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Jesus Said The Fields Are Ripe For The Harvest

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P16 (03-13-23)

Open Your Eyes and Look at the Fields! They are Ripe for Harvest.

~ “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ is true. I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.” John 4:34-38

~ “There are people all around you and all around me, who need to know Christ and are longing to know Christ. The more that you’re engaged in evangelism, the more you will see that sometimes it’s like a piece of fruit hanging on a branch just ready to fall off when you talk to them about Jesus. And another time they’re hanging on with There … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Jesus is God - John 5

Classic Christianity – Book of John Part 23 (05-21-19)

Bob George TeachingBob George continues teaching from John 5. He shares again about the Holy Spirit, how this person of the Trinity is our guide and counselor. God sent Jesus to explain how to live in total dependence on the Holy Spirit. Jesus emptied himself of his divine attributes, lived as a man like us, except without sin and lived in total dependence of His Father. So we, who are born again, should let the Spirit of God, living in us, guide us into all truth and counsel us. The Holy Spirit instructs us, showing us the error in our thinking, in order to replace error in our minds with truth. So let us walk in the Spirit and see this fruit be produced in us and through us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.

Bob George also shared the process that takes place in the mind of an unbeliever for him to come to Christ. The law at work, with the drawing of the Holy Spirit, reveals to him his condition of spiritual death. He looks at the law that says do not commit adultery or do … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Classic Christianity – Book of John Part 22 (05-20-19)

Bob George TeachingBob George continues teaching from the book of John, teaching from John 5. Bob explains what religion does, how nonsensical it is, keeping men blind and enslaved in sin and death, in contrast to the attitude of Jesus. Jesus resisted the religious and proud and extended mercy to the humble, who listened to truth and were saved unto new life.

Bob explained the complexity of the Trinity and the functioning of the godhead through the parable of the vine and the branches in John 15. Jesus came to explain the work of the Father and how he and His Father are one. Jesus showed us the working of the Trinity and his total dependence on God the Father as a way of showing us a new way to live just as he did, in total dependence on God. Jesus had the Holy Spirit living in him and listened to the voice of the Father and did only what he saw his Father doing and what His Father told him to do.

Bob explains the nature of all men, spiritually dead, devoid of the Spirit life in Jesus. Jesus came so man … Listen to Broadcast & Read More
