Are You Busy and Barren Today or Resting in Jesus?

~ Many people are out there grunting and groaning in the energy of their flesh for Jesus Christ. They are not abiding in the Holy Spirit, but are listening to their flesh tell them to be a do do Christian. And they are listening to man saying to do this instead of listening to the Holy Spirit, if indeed the Holy Spirit lives in them. We are told to make sure that we enter His rest, whereby we rest from our works as Jesus rested from his too. Jesus showed us how man was to live, by abiding in the vine. We can do nothing on our own. Only when we allow God, the Holy Spirit to live His life in and through us can we then experience the Sabbath rest of God. Jesus did nothing and said nothing other than what the Father had him do and had him say. So when we learn to abide in the vine, God will use us the same way. Jesus Said, “Take Off The Grave Clothes”

~ Jesus Raises Lazarus From the Dead ~ John 11:38-44
38 Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 39 “Take away the stone,” he said.

“But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.”

40 Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”

41 So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.”

Trying to Obey the Law Will Cause More Sin in Your Life ~ The Answer: Live By Faith in the One Who Took Away All Your Sins on the Cross!

~ So in Romans 5:20 were say, the law was added so that the trespass might increase. In other words, did we just not read that the law was added because of transgressions, until the seed came. And it was added, so that the trespass, the transgression might increase, but where sin increased, Grace increased all the more, so that just as Sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness, to bring what? eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. So we’re going to see that wherever we are as Christians, under the law, that you’re going to see that the power of sin is in the law. Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Law & Grace P07 (10-03-22)

When You Place Faith in Christ, He is Credited to You as Righteousness ~ Rest Today in His Righteousness!

~ And so and by faith, Israel was saved. They weren’t saved through the law. They were saved by faith. Moses, believed God that was credited to him his righteousness. The Israelites believed Moses, and followed him over into the desert by faith and faith alone. So that’s an interesting thing, isn’t it that that here, even the Israelites were saved by faith, not by the law, but by faith. Now, then the Israelites in the desert, wanted some law. And so God said, Well, okay, I’ll get I’ll give you some law. And then we talked about last week about what the stringency of that law is, here it is, and I’m commanding you to keep all of it, every single bit of it, and the response from the Israelite was, we will do it, Lord. In other words, don’t worry about us, we will do it.

We Know, Without The Shedding of Blood, There is No Forgiveness. ~ Hebrews 9:22 ~ So Rest!

~ Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness, there’s no more shedding of blood, there’s no more sacrifice. So either keep trying in the desert, or enter in to this Sabbath rest, and rest from your works just as I rested from mine.

You know, folks, that rest still stands. And that is the offer that is still out to each and every one of us that that Sabbath rest still stands and it says, I just did I warn you don’t fail to enter into that thing. And in other words, why would you want to roam in the desert, for the rest of your life playing church in the desert, instead of enjoying the benefits of the life that is available to you in Christ Jesus, and folks that isn’t a life of prosperity and a life of never being sick and all that stuff? That’s desert stuff as well. We’re talking about entering into peace in your soul.
