Sanctify Them by The Truth; Your Word is Truth

~ If a person wants to know the things of God, a person needs to dig into the word of God and read it. Truth is found in the word of God. Yet there are many people today that no longer read the word of God. Some think, that once you have read the word of God, that’s all that is necessary. Does that ring true in your heart if you want to get to know the author? Jesus is throughout the Word, and is the Word, so wouldn’t a child of God want to read the Word of God repeatedly? Wouldn’t the Holy Spirit want us to focus on TRUTH? Of course He would. So that brings to light, is a person really saved if they absolutely do not want to read the word of God? If a person has the Holy Spirit living in them, do we really believe that the Spirit would tell our spirit not to read the Word of God in order to have a better understanding of things? Of course not.

And there are even so-called grace teachers, who went out from us, but were never a part of us, that teach what is known as one point Calvinism, that Jesus only died for the elect. ~ How many of you can relate to the sharing of Truth, and it goes in one ear and out the other with those you are sharing it with? For example, when we tell people, Jesus did it all at the cross, it is Finished! He forgave ALL your sins and is no longer counting any of your sins against you. Most people hear that and do absolutely nothing with it. They do not exercise Faith. For if they did, they would quit doing the whole aspect of playing church and going back to God and asking over and over again for what He said, “is finished.” It seems very strange today, that we can tell people Truth, and still they ignore us. And understand this, they are not ignoring us, but they are ignoring the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of TRUTH.

~ The Apostle Paul Was a HEBREW
~ It’s important that we understand, that Paul was a Hebrew, and not a Jew. And most do not understand that Hebrews are not Jews and Jews are NOT Hebrews. The word Jew was substituted in the word of God in the 18th century and replaced the original words of God with the made-up word ‘Jew’ and was added to the scriptures and replaced the original words Yahudah and Ioudaios. Ἰουδαίους (Ioudaious) and is Judaean, which are obviously NOT the word Jew to even the most casual observer. And well meaning people (including all of us) today have been fooled by this identity theft by Satan, of thinking God’s chosen people are a different race of people than who they really are. And as a reminder, once again, remember that the temple was completely destroyed, and ALL the original birth records were ALSO destroyed at the time. So there is no way to prove they are who they say they are.

Synopsis

Bob George now starts in the book of Romans, after providing some introductory background on the life of Paul. Through just the first seven verses of Romans, Bob explains the meaning of words, such as sin, forgiveness, sanctified (set apart), slave, ambassador, saint, truth, gospel, obedience and faith, that we often take for granted, and such words are often not properly understood. The Greek language provides a more precise rendering that helps our understanding in some cases.

The gospel is the message of good news of Jesus Christ and Paul is called as an ambassador of Jesus Christ to bring this good news and explain it to the Gentile world. Ambassador is not a short term function he is assigned to do. He is called as an ambassador, as an identification or designation. It is like the word forgiveness. It not something we get but something we already have. An ambassador for God is one who represents God in a foreign country, the place on earth, to proclaim truth.
