Reconciliation Jesus Took Away Your Sins on the Cross

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P73 (07-24-23)

You Come to Christ Jesus Because Your Sins Are Already Forgiven at The Cross

~ One of the biggest lies and misunderstandings of the gospel that is taught today, is the lie, that you come to Christ Jesus to get your sins forgiven. Satan has convinced the world that you come to Jesus, and then he forgives you your sins when you ask for it, or faith it. Another way of saying it, is most people don’t believe that Jesus died for everyone’s sins, only those that place faith in Jesus. So called grace teachers will teach this one point of Calvinism very subtlety. They won’t say that Jesus had limited atonement but they will indirectly say there is limited propitiation of sins only for the elect. One well known teacher will even go so far as to say “that anyone that teaches that Jesus forgave everyone’s sins at the cross is a charlatan.” They will not even tell a lost person their sins are forgiven, because in their mind they don’t know if that person will ever have faith or not to believe their sins are forgiven, thus they don’t … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Righteousness is Only From God

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P72 (07-19-23)

Jesus at the Cross, Died for Us Then, So He Could Live in Us Now!

~ Behold the Lamb of God who took (past tense) away the sins of the world. Yes, Jesus took them away. That happened at the cross one time for ALL. We are on this side of the cross (after the cross) not the other side of the cross (before the cross) where John the Baptist declared, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” Now, living after the cross we should be shouting from the rooftops, “Look, the Lamb of God, who TOOK AWAY the sin of the world!” Do you believe this? Or do you think more forgiveness is required by God? Is Jesus ever going to die again for the sins of the whole world? Of course He isn’t. So if He isn’t going to die again on the cross, then why are people asking Him to do what He has already done? It’s because people don’t really have faith. For if they really had faith they would be thanking God for what He has already done. They are … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Jesus Said to the Father Forgive Them

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P42 (05-10-23)

Jesus Said, “Father Forgive Them They Don’t Know What They Are Doing.”

~ Jesus spoke to the Father all the time. And we know that everything He did was the Father telling him to do it, and everything He said was the Father telling Him to say it. So when we see that Jesus spoke to the Father from the cross and said to “forgive them,” you can rest assured that God did indeed forgive them at the cross. For Jesus forgave (past tense) the sins of the whole world at the cross.

~ Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.” Luke 23:34

~ Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed. The New Covenant of Jesus Christ

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P817 (03-16-23)

Jesus Taught Under the Old Covenant to Bury Us

~ “In the case of a will, it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it, because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living.” Hebrews 9:16,17

~ Bob George
“The New Covenant is like a will or a testament, you got an Old Testament, you have a New Testament, a will or a testament does not go into effect until the one who made it dies. And that’s why in Hebrews, it talks about the fact that a will does not go into effect until the one who made it dies. It never goes into effect, while the one who made it is living. So the New Covenant went into effect at the death of Jesus. Now, if that’s the case, which indeed it is, because he fulfilled the old, by walking in perfect love and love is the fulfillment of the law. And then he ushered in a New Covenant of grace that went into effect at the death of Christ Jesus, … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

You Have Been Reconciled to God! ~ Share The Truth With Others

~ “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:20

~ “The good news of the gospel, it’s finished, we have been reconciled to God, God’s part. All of this is from God who was reconciling the world unto Himself, not counting man sins against them. What’s our part? We implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. He said, here’s the one part and Corinthians Second Corinthians, he’s saying, this is of God, this is what God did. I reconciled you unto myself, not counting your sins against you. And then in five passages later he has to beg us to be reconciled. And he said, I implore you or I beg you on Christ behalf, be reconciled to God, he’s reconciled to you, be reconciled to Him. I’ve taken it off my accounts receivable, take off your accounts payable. It’s done. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin for you and me, so that in … Listen to Broadcast & Read More
