His Name is Jesus

Classic Christianity – New Years P3 (01-01-20)

Synopsis

As you read the familiar story of the account in Luke of the birth and early life of Christ, what grabs your attention? The Spirit continually teaches us through His word, even from passages so familiar to us, as we stop and ponder His word, and ask the Lord to reveal to us what He wants us to see today. When you think of how the Spirit is at work to reveal truth to men, do you see how He works throughout the ages to reveal Himself to men? How has He revealed Himself to you? Today, He has revealed Himself to us by the Son He has given.

A Righteousness From God

Classic Christianity – Book of Romans P6 (10-30-19)

Synopsis

Bob George continues sharing from the key passage of Romans 1:16-17. In the gospel, a righteousness from God is revealed that is by faith from first to last, and is the power of God unto salvation for all who will believe. You see yourself as better or worse than someone else. You are either puffed up in pride or are overcome with self condemnation. Either way, you are bound by deception and enslaved to sin. That is really what happens in religion. You have to have rules and regulations, and that just keeps you in … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Classic Christianity – Book of John p13 (11-07-18)

Bob George TeachingWelcome to Class Christianity Radio with Bob George, the clear, timeliness teaching on the complete forgiveness and unconditional love of Jesus, that will transform your life as you learn about God’s amazing love. Let’s join Bob as he continues sharing through the book of John. Currently, we are studying John 5:19-30. Bob begins the lesson showing how modern day church organizations and denominations so often are not operating by the Spirit of God, with Jesus as the head, but as religious activities for God to bless. He presents several examples of religious activities and briefly retells the story of the religious Pharisees from yesterday’s sermon. He then re-explains the concept of the Trinity, with emphasis of how Jesus lived on earth in total dependence on His Father. Bob then further explains the function of the Holy Spirit in a believer. He particularly focuses on the role of the Holy Spirit as counselor, to help a believer to identify error in thinking, and replace such error with truth. Bob then further explains man’s most basic problem is not that he is a sinner, but that he is spiritually dead and in need of … Listen to Broadcast & Read More
