The Holy Spirit is Constantly Renewing Your Mind – Teaching You Truth

Simeon prophesied that Jesus will cause the rising and falling of many in Israel, a sign that will be spoken against, so that the hearts of many will be revealed. There is something about mankind, who is born spiritually dead, that he is naturally opposed to truth. Truth sounds as foolishness to him. You can talk about God all day long, and people seem to be okay with that. People talk about all kinds of religions, and people are okay with that too. But once you talk about Jesus or the truth of His word, there is an aversion, a pulling away, or even quite a reaction with false accusations.

In today’s world, hardly anyone wants to hear truth anymore. The bible and prayer have long been kicked out of the public sphere. Situational ethics and evolution have been taught in our schools. Synopsis

Questions that come up quite frequently are questions in regard to tithing and various passages in the Old Testament. Questions like, “How does that passage apply to me today?” It doesn’t. The most prevalent question is in regard to tithing. “Am I robbing God when I do not tithe?” Absolutely not. If a person understood the New Covenant they are living under today, they would not need to ask such questions, for the answer would be very clear. These questions can easily be answered from the scriptures themselves, and anyone who has the Spirit of God living in Him, would then be able to discern the truth on these things.

Synopsis

When you think of all the things spoken by the prophets, that were fulfilled in Christ, and how sovereign God is, that everything He has said has come to pass, who, in their right mind, would not come to come and choose life? The star stooped over the place where Jesus lay, just as it was spoken through the prophet. Jesus shall be called Emmanuel, and we see the transfiguration, where a voice from heaven says, “Listen to him. This is My Beloved Son”. God spoke to Joseph and Mary through dreams, and what was spoken through the prophets was fulfilled, such as Jesus would be called a Nazarene.
